DC Youth Volleyball Camp Registration Night (incoming 3rd - 8th graders)
Members of the varsity team attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney's team camp this past Friday. Each of their six matches were two sets apiece. The Lady Scouts went 7-5 on the day facing some tough competition helping prepare them for their regular season.

If you have any gently used Scout gear that has been outgrown, please drop it off at David City Elementary. It will be washed and ready for a new home at Open House Friday August 9th, 5:30-6:30pm.
On Tuesday, ten varsity teams and eight JV teams packed the courts for the David City Scout Team Camp. The Lady Scouts are working hard to prepare for the upcoming school year by putting in time in the off-season. Up next, is the UNK Team Camp on Friday. Go Scouts!
Members of the DCHS volleyball team attended the Wayne State Camp on Friday. Lots of positives were noted throughout the day playing some very aggressive and top-rated teams in the afternoon. The Lady Scouts ended their day winning 9 out 12 sets! Go Scouts!
The JV and Reserve teams participated in the Concordia Team Camp today. After playing 7 games and going 3-0 in their tournament bracket, the JV Lady Scouts brought home 1st in their division! Go Scouts!
Congratulations to DCHS graduates Kaitlyn Palik and Chloe Zegers for placing 2nd in their event at the National FCCLA STAR Competition. Way to end it Ladies!

Day 4 of FCCLA Nationals in Seattle,WA. Last night the members experienced some of Seattle's hot spots as they await their results of their competitions. Space Needle, Monorail and Great Wheel.
Day 3 in Seattle, WA. We have enjoyed the Expo and workshops and food. Today we have 4 members competing. Good luck FCCLA Scouts!

We have made it to the big city of Seattle, WA! The time change was hard on us yesterday as we attended the opening session and the first NE meeting. Good luck to our Abby as she will compete in Interior Design today!

Ended the basketball summer with a trip to Concordia! Played 2 class B teams, brought some extra girls to get some experience, and saw no shortage of physicality!!!

Another team camp with this group! Traveled to Wilcox Hildreth, saw some new competition, and got some shot clock experience!! Not a DC girls basketball trip without some goofiness. The girls brought a "salad" that was very beneficial I'm sure between games. Never a dull moment with this group. #RollScouts
