Final team camp of the summer is done, crazy how fast June has gone. Most teams have twice as many girls but didn't stop these six from going 3-0!!! Only 4 points allowed in the second half game 1, a wild atmosphere with some laughs in game 2, and a lot of good offensive execution game 3. Can't wait for the upcoming season with a hard working group!!!

These girls attended camp at Tekamah Friday. 4 games and a lot of good things to take away from them. Great improvement as the day went on!!

Second team camp in the books. Crazy tough competition but the girls played 3 great games going 2-1!!! Shots were falling and a lot of fun was had like always!

Reminder: David City Public Schools grades 7-12 will be using FinalForms , an online forms and data management service for the 25-26 school year . First team camp in the books! Very impressed with the girls since we didn't go over things, just showed up after a long time off and played. 2-1 on the day with two good scoring games in both wins. Excited for June!!!

Bellwood Elementary had an amazing end of year celebration to close out the 2024-25 school year. Since our theme this year was traveling the world, we ended the year with travel themed activities. Wildlife Encounters brought a global safari and the students saw 6 wild animals, and all students and staff got to pet a baby kangaroo. We also had a treasure hunt around town, a picnic lunch and all students left with souvenirs of the day. We ended the day with the World's Best Dance Party. Thanks to the Bellwood PTO for sponsoring Wildlife Encounters, some of the souvenirs for the students, and the DJ for the dance party. It was a fun way to conclude a great school year.

Today was "Slime The Principal Day" at Bellwood Elementary. Students who missed 5 days of school or less for the entire school year earned the privilege of sliming Miss Romshek as a part of an attendance celebration.

The annual rock band concert is always a blast. Great job to both the staff band and the students for the show.

Bellwood Elementary honored another Future World Changer today. Congratulations to Jackson for receiving a positive office referral for showing great leadership skills.
