🔊Millard West Middle School Meet Results🔊
We were met with FANTASTIC competition today. This was a great way for us to start off our season, and each competitor is coming home with the motivation to do better and practice more. We plan to work hard this week and hope to see everyone at our home meet @ DC High School on April 12th @ 9am.

Also, a BIG shout out to Shelbea, Madie, and Ellie for coming along to be judges for us. We are lucky to have STATE CHAMPS to support us.





Spanish 4 students from DCHS visited Bellwood Elementary for our 3rd Spanish lesson for 1st through 5th grade students. The students really enjoy these lessons from the high school students.







Shout out to sophomore Abby Lindsley for being one of 10 sophomores across the state chosen to serve on this committee for the NSAA. We are proud to have the Scouts represented!

Congratulations to our new Student Advisory Committee (SAC) members. We couldn't be more excited to welcome them on board for the next two years and continue on their mission of improving sportsmanship and leadership across our state!
Let's give them a round of applause!


Due to expected cold temperatures, the start time for the Plattsmouth Golf meet scheduled for Monday, April 7th, has been moved to 10:00am.

Congratulations to the March 28th Scouts of the Week - Paul, Nolan, & Hunter!


Congrats to the David City Golf team today in winning the Aquinas Invitational with a score of 323. Jesse Divis first place with 75. Xavier Boss 3rd place with a 76. Keaton Busch 4th place with a n 84. Cameron Hlavac 6th with an 88. Chase Kuhlman 10th with an 89.


The David City Track team had a busy two days. JV traveled to the Humphrey Invite Monday where the girls and boys both placed 5th. Varsity went to the Scotus Invite Tuesday and the girls and boys also both placed 5th. The athletes are working hard and it's showing!

Congrats to all the Esports players who have qualified for Spring State! They will compete on April 12th at Doane.

Please join us for Family Game Night as part of David City Elementary's Spring Family Night
on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Come with your family to visit an interactive wax museum, play some games, and attend the book fair.

With four massive wins, David City Esports is the Division 3 Fortnite State Champs! Congrats Justin, Jaxon, Julien, Ethan and James!
The State Competition for the rest of the spring games will be in-person at Doane in 2 weeks.
