CALENDAR OF SUMMER EVENTS - 2008
June 2 Summer Weightlifting Program begins & runs through July 29th: Summer weight room hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Volleyball Open Gym begins today & will be open every Mon. & Wed 8 to 10 am.
(Gym closes in July.)
June 3 Girl's Basketball Summer League begins.
Girls Basketball Open Gym begins & runs Tues. & Thurs. from 9 to 10:30 am
June 5 Boy's Basketball Lincoln Summer League - Meets on Thursdays & runs thru July 10th.
July 6-9 Wrestling at Oklahoma State Team Camp
July 7-10 Football - Northeast NebraskaFootball Camp
July 9-10 Volleyball at Doane Team Camp in Crete
July 11-13 Football - Big Red Football School
July 12 Last day for use of the high school gym until school starts.
July 13-15 Football - Concordia Individual Camp
July 14 Football - Big Red Run-n-Gun (7 on 7) Camp
July 15 FCCLA Members clean out the popcorn stand at the fair.
July 17-20 Butler County Fair
FCCLA Members work at the popcorn stand at the county fair.
July 18-19 Volleyball at NE Wesleyan Team Camp in Lincoln
Football- Concordia Trench Camp 8 am to 9 pm on the 18th; 9 am to 12 noonon the 19th.
July 20-22 David City Football Camp - Gr. 4-6 from 8 to 9:15 am; Gr. 7-8 from 9:30 to 11 am; Gr. 9-12 from 12 to 2 pm
July 23-25 Softball Camp for girls in grades 7-12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the 23rd & 24th and until 8 pm on the 25th.
Football - Concordia Team Camp
July 28 Girl’s Physicals at 7:00 p.m. and Boy's Physicals after 7:30 p.m. at the Butler County Clinic.
($15 is paid at the time of the physical.)
(NO ONE will take a physical without the $15.00 check. If you cannot take the physical at this time, each individual will take a physical on their own time & at the regular office charge.)
July 29-31 Coaches Clinic
August 4 School packets will be ready to pick up. Mrs. Siffring will be in her office.
Day is reserved for SENIORS to make schedule changes.
August 5 Day is reserved for JUNIORS to make schedule changes.
August 6 Day is reserved for SOPHOMORES to make schedule changes.
August 7 Day is reserved for FRESHMEN to make schedule changes.
August 11-12 Teacher Work Days
August 13 First day of school!
August 18 First day of fall sports practices.
