FFA Member of the Month Criteria

FFA Member of the Month
David City FFA members can receive the honor of being selected as the FFA Member of the Month. The lucky winner will receive a $5.00 gift Certificate and have their profile appear on the Web Page as well as being posted in obvious locations around the school. Newspaper articles will depend on the newspaper editor.
Purpose
The purpose of the FFA Member of the Month is to promote our members and the work that they do throughout the year. This recognition is not limited to any specific grade or degree of membership.
Criteria to be eligible for the FFA Member of the Month
- Must have attended the FFA Meeting for the month
- Be in good standing with the Chapter which includes paid dues
Procedure
- Each time the member is involved in an FFA activity their name will be entered for a drawing of the FFA Member of the Month.
- The member�s name will be entered into the drawing for meeting attendance and each additional FFA activity they participate in for that month.
- Drawing will be done last day of the month that school is in session. The list of names will start over each month. We will use the months September through May allowing nine awards.
- No member can be named Member of the Month two months in a row
- In case the same member is selected in the drawing they may receive the $5.00 gift certificate a second time but another member will be drawn for the profile to be published on the web page and around the building etc.
- Maximum of two gift certificates per year.
- All monthly winners will be placed into a drawing for a larger prize that will be given to the lucky winner at the end of the school year.
